My practice is grounded in an ongoing body of research. It does not prescribe outcomes; instead, it creates the conditions through which time, experience and material transformation continuously shape each work. Instead of anticipating fixed forms, the research remains open to change, allowing lived experience to become part of its evolution.
Jewellery became the first scale for this investigation because of its intimacy with the body. More recently, the same research has expanded into sculpture, while photography serves both as a mode of inquiry and as a way of thinking. These practices do not exist separately, but as different manifestations of the same investigation. I often think of these works as photographs in metal: material records of transformations that cannot be directly observed, only inferred through the traces they leave behind. Ultimately, I am interested in how matter becomes memory.
